Claim based on Sprint's analysis of average LTE download speeds using Nielsen NMP data (Feb. Actual download speeds may vary by location and device capability. Other terms: Offers & coverage not available everywhere or for all phones/networks. May not be combined with other offers. No add'l discounts apply. It happened the same for me, I bought a couple phones on March 16, 2010. One of the phones qualified for 2 different rebates. I mailed everything they requested before the due date, I received the Metro PCS rebate but never got anything from Samsung. The phone was offered with 2 different rebates, one from Metro for $40 and one from Samsung $50. The $30 prepaid plan is the cheapest in MetroPCS’ lineup and gives customers unlimited talk, text and low speed data as well as 1 GB of high speed LTE data. Tethering and Wifi hotspotting with the phone is allowed on this plan. As the company is owned by T-Mobile, it goes without saying that MetroPCS uses T-Mobile’s network.

These guys are the worst. We spoke directly to a PCS rep who told us we could get roaming access in Europe. When we got here, it didn't work.

We talked to one guy who tried to fix it, assuring it was a coding issue. He said call back. Then next person said Italy wasn't included.

She insisted she had no supervisor. I had to insist she did. The next person was also unhelpful.

Apparently we were lied to by the first person. Do not be misled. PCS has NO INTERNATIONAL service. Plus, their help staff are all. They don't take their customers respect when I and others I know who are customers of this cell phone service as of important when you have problems with their cellphone. They don't really want to check out the phone. They want you to purchase a new one.

And the new phone isn't working no better. Nor will they replace the phone. And it is hard to delete unwanted apps. They give you free service that claim to come with the phone when you purchase the phone. A few months later they will remove the service.

Plus they will go up on your phone bill. I can never reach an actual person on the 800 number. I can never reach anyone at physical actual stores in Albuquerque. They actually have no business phone. When I went in person the employees made it clear that they couldn't care less about getting me as a customer. When I said, 'I want to switch to you and the only thing stopping me is that I can't get any customer service by phone.' The guy acted all surprised like he never heard of that issue before.

So I dialed in front of him and got a. robot and no option to speak to a HUMAN. He then shrugged and said that's how it is. automated systems. So I will stay with T-mobile even though it's expensive and going forward as the computers and robots take over our jobs and our lives I will choose HUMAN interaction for as long as it's possible. Too bad there are scumbags like Metro PCS employees. Two months ago I switched from Page Plus to Metro PCS.

I brought two lines over as well as received a phone for free for my son. So a total of three lines. Almost immediately I had problems with my phones. Just my particular phone. So for the next week I went into the store that I signed up at and each time they did something different, I have dropped cause when I'm on the phone and someone tries to call in it disconnects both lines. It will not allow me to answer any incoming call if I'm on the phone. I have not been able to check email since I've had this service.

The service area is horrible. I cannot receive calls while I'm in my home. I literally had to stand next to a window to get good reception. I brought my phone in to the store at least five to six times in one week. Finally after the last time I was told that since my phone came from Verizon they always have problems porting Verizon phones over so I would need to get a different phone. Of course they would now be a cost for me.

I could get a nice phone for $100, to which I replied 'when I transferred over why did you guys not tell me this I would have gotten a different phone at the same time I got my son's phone,' they had no reply. So I called customer service. Can never get through. It's always transfer here transfer there and with the service being so horrible I would often times drop the call. So the other night I went down to a nearby gas station. Rye literally had to sit for 45 minutes and make the phone call.

Of course while on the phone someone tried to call me and disconnected me so I had to call back the individual that I spoke to. Gave me all these different settings to switch which I did. He said 'your service should be perfect now.'

Well guess what. So the next day I called back from a different phone to talk to somebody else after I told her of my displeasure. Her response was 'Well there's nothing more we can do. We've done everything we can do.' I said 'well I guess I should go somewhere else.' She said 'I'm very sorry about that but maybe so' and she started talking to me about 'thank you for calling' so I hung up on her.

My advice to anybody going to this company do not go. Go to some other company.

These guys are scammers. They just want to find ways to build you out of more money as there is no reason they could not have given me one of the free phones! I hear Cricket is great. I also plan to file a complaint through the Attorney General's office for my state. My Hope Is that with maybe enough complaints each state will start to take this company on and they will sue them for what they are bilking people for. So good luck to everybody. Keep filing complaints.

Go through your State Attorney General's office. There are consumer protection laws.

I purchased a phone from the Uptown store in Cedar Hill on a lease. I was told that I could pay for the phone in 3 months and pay no interest, and if I paid it off for the term would pay $50.00 interest.

I did my application online and never received a paper copy. I trusted the manager who was very professional, but when the payments kept being deducted, I called SmartPay who told me that I had 13 payments of $38.00 which adds up to over $500.00. I sent the phone back, contacted home office and central office. called me from central once, who was belligerent and unprofessional. The main offices told me to contact the store which sold me the phone. Of course, nothing.

The owner of the store won't call me either. I am left without a phone. I paid almost $300 for that phone that I sent back, but they will not give me a 100.00 phone in exchange. WHAT THIEVES!!!

I have had the service for 2 months and I have had major headaches just trying to make payments. Their online payment app doesn't work. Refuses my credit cards, debit card and cannot get a live associate to handle my issues. 'Sorry we're updating our system, call back in 2 hrs'. And the coverage is spotty and they add fees for using their support when you can't use the online system. Cancelling this crap service today.

T-MOBILE is absolutely the worst phone carrier I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. THE ABSOLUTE WORST.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. WISH I COULD GIVE A (-) NEGATIVE 5 STARS. THEY SURELY EARNED -5 STARS. DID I MENTION. I have had Metro PCS for over 5 years. Lately I have had nothing but issues with them.

Towards the end of the month my data is cut even though I have unlimited data plan. They don't know how to run a cellular service and when speaking with customer service, you need a translator to understand them. Then they try to charge me $60 for my $50 plus mobile hotspot and try to tell me that they never had a $50 plus mobile hotspot plan.

They said that mobile hotspot only comes on the $60 plan. Now they think it's funny to cut my data again. Do NOT use these guys again. I was told according to my street. ' No problem with service'.

I purchased my new phone. Within 2 days went back into store here in Columbus, TX. They told me I changed settings? This is a new phone so I figured it could be possible. Within 2 days same problems.

Went back, same problem. Except I had to leave. The service person said she will call my cell within the next 15 min. To advise me what her service center/manager says to do. Needless to say no call. I've been bearing with this, since. Now I can't stand it any longer.

I'm in the storm in Texas and I can't call my family. I used a friend’s phone. Called Metro PCS they are having a supervisor call me back. That's over 1 hour ago. If my family is put in danger I'm suing Metro PCS as they are aware of my desperate situation!

Crazy crappy service. My husband and I have had Metro a little over a year now and we're very satisfied so far. The plan we're on is $60 for each line, 2 free ok phones, everything unlimited, but only 8G hotspot. That was the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars, the girl we dealt with at the store told us we could hook our phones up to our TV to stream Netflix, etc. Neither of our phones have that capability, and we were VERY adamant that we needed that because we don't have WiFi. She assured us that we absolutely could stream unlimited, and nope, 8G hotspot, that's it. So I was pretty pissed about that, since I had a grandfathered 60G plan with At&t for only $150 with the 2 phones.

Service is great though, but don't trust their sales reps, they'll lie through their teeth to make the sale. Metro PCS are scams, I've come to realize; very misleading. I will make sure I spread the word on this so less consumers will be victimized in the future. I cannot and I will not support scamming and being an abused consumer. I will be retrieving phone services elsewhere.

They say you are on a prepaid plan but yet they find every reason to charge extra fees. I paid my bill after my due date which is ok in prepaid right? We'll wrong for Metro PCS. Apparently your due date will stay the same whether you pay late or not meaning you will not receive 30 days/a month of service UNLESS you pay an extra fee to change your due date.

A damn rip off and this is not considered prepaid with all these stipulations. I'm PREPAYING for my services!!! I guess they've reinvented the meaning of 'prepaid'. On or about June 25, 2017 I entered the Metro PCS Wireless store located on 95 Thomaston Avenue Waterbury Connecticut 06702. Upon entrance the sales person (.) was rude. I wanted to purchase the 2 phones for $80 plan. I felt I was being overcharged and I reported the service rep to Metro PCS.

As I left the store my phone number was not working. I contacted Metro PCS and put in two tickets at a wait of 5 days each and no resolution. I purchased a 3rd line of which I needed just to make and receive calls as line 1 did not work.

I have recordings and phone logs of the time and many many many hours I've logged with Metro PCS trying to resolve this situation to no avail. I've had to call back many times to customer service at Metro PCS and at times being disconnected.

Each time I informed the rep my business number was not working. I was forced to go through steps with my phone. Some resulting in 4 hour call times on numerous occasions.

Upon my investigation it was discovered that my number (.) was ported to the safe link network without my authorization. Metro PCS did not do anything to help resolve this matter or in a timely fashion. I tried to have my business number (.) ported back to T-Mobile (from which it came 30 days prior to June 24, 2017) and T-Mobile informed me my number was with the SafeLink network. There was never a port request for my business number.

to be sent to safe link. I made reports to the FCC. and.

I was not able to make or receive calls until on or about August 14, 2017. Approximately 50 days later. During the 50 days of disruption my business.

suffered a tremendous financial loss as I wasn't able to receive any calls from clients for 50 days and lost a lot of business. has lost many clients and contracts within the 50 days my number was ported without authorization. I am writing this letter as an attempt to retrieve the sum of $70,000 in damages resulting from my number being ported without my authorization for 50 day. I had planned on getting a smart phone and paying for unlimited service with the Metro PCS on Roosevelt Road in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. I went in the store and asked Sayed about transferring my cell number from my current carrier to Metro PCS and he told me everything was fine and that I would get a free smart phone as part of their promotion.

I returned two days later (when my current service expired) and told Sayed that I was ready to make the change. Now Sayed told me that transferring my cell number wouldn't work and the smart phone would not be free but full price.

Of course he could not explain why everything was fine two days earlier but now the promotion did not apply. He also had no explanation for why he would mislead a customer and tell them to return for a promotion when he had no intention of honoring it. I asked Sayed to show me paperwork or details on Metro PCS's website that showed my phone service was not included in the promotion. He said he had no paperwork and had no idea where to find that information online. He is one of the most incompetent and clueless employees that I have come across in a long time. And equally pathetic is that he didn't seem to care that he was losing a customer and had misinformed me initially. Both times I was in the store there were no other customers.

I found out why the store was empty through my experience with Sayed - an incredibly unprofessional, incompetent, and ignorant person. Fair to not good at first then downhill to not able to get internet/failed calls. REPEATEDLY LIED TO. Just got Straight Talk who use Verizon/Sprint/Boost towers. They can switch if needed. Now have 4 bars with 100% coverage.

Oh - for $5 less than Metro and 4G MORE! Metro said it was my phone 3 times over 2+ years so I bought new because I trusted them. It wasn't the phones - they LIED about coverage where I live!! Metro LIED to me about why I had so much trouble EVERY TIME! I spent much $$ for nothing.

Yeah Straight Talk!! Metro $50 plus $3Fed's/month 8th/mo. Then 2 speed.

If you have coverage. Straight Talk is $55 for 12th. Great Verizon coverage. No - RUN away from Metro PCS. First of all I called regarding the issue that I am having with the Stylo 3 LG and the little gal that is working there tonight August 10th with the owner automatically decided she was going to tell me that I was a liar, that there is no issues with the LG Stylo 3, that I would have to come in and bring my phone. I got there about 7 p.m.

Showed her the phone and right away this little gal started telling me my phone was damaged. I have to put it in my back pocket because it was warped. I've had this phone for maybe 2 months if that it's been any case since the day I bought it. Paid $350 for this phone. Yeah 350 is not just a drop in the bucket for me. First of all when I walked in I felt like I walked into a topless bar the way this little gal was presenting herself and the type of music that they were engaging in was very inappropriate, lots of cussing, lots of sexual gestures.

Not a good way to run a business. The owner decided to come over after he saw my frustration with this little gal that was trying to tell me what was wrong with my phone. I feel it's the battery but they could not even be bothered with trying to put in a new battery to see if perhaps it is the battery and they did absolutely nothing. Tried to blame it on my apps, tried to blame it on my phone cords. Refuse to take any thing that I felt since I live with the phone everyday and address my issues. It was all about their issues yet I pay for the insurance every month and for what reason when I don't even get to take care of issues with my phone.

It's dictated by the owner and his employee? Absolutely nothing was accomplished. I drove almost 17 miles because it was the store that I bought the phone from originally for absolutely nothing to be done and be sent on my way with a little scribble note to call LG let them deal with it. I don't know what it takes to be an owner or a partner for MetroPCS but after what I saw today they might as well just get people off the damn street because this owner and the little gal that was probably 10-12 years younger than him really needed to go to a quieter environment and it was very obvious that they did not want to be bothered with customer. I have had a lot of issues with MetroPCS. They say that their second line is $25. I went to go Adeline cost me $62 for my and it cost me another $58 to add a line.

A week later I get a text message for another $15 that nobody can explain to me why and they interrupt my service for $15 after I just paid over $100. That's some kind of. Anybody that you talk to as far as customer service goes you cannot understand. They have no clue what you're even talking about and it's like talking to a wall because they don't even acknowledge any of your concerned because they don't understand him but yet those are the people that are helping us. Flippin' wonderful.

I cringe at the thought of calling customer service every single time because they are absolutely useless. MetroPCS has got to be one of the bottom of the barrel carriers as far as skills, customer service, politeness, ethics or respect. After having horrid service I had My main Cell Phone Ported to a real Carrier then went to Metro PCS where I had just paid for a month and asked for a new Number. They said I had to wait 72 hours after being treat like a piece of crap at the Brighton store.

Called in and got the runaround and was told because I changed lines I forfeited my service. Had planned on keeping the service for fact it was affordable and did work if you were in town. Would never recommend falling for their substandard service coverage but very poor customer service in all avenues. Went with the nation's number One Carrier. No complaints since. I was told that this company provided mobile telephone service for my area. The salesperson showed me the Metro PCS area coverage map and it included my home.

However, after purchasing the service, as I neared my home, I lost coverage. I returned to the store and complained to the salesperson. He attempted support his case by downloading both the Metro PCS and T-Mobile area coverage maps (Metro PCS is part of T-Mobile and uses the T-Mobile system). The T-Mobile area map showed NO COVERAGE for my area which was the opposite of what I was sold.

I said that I wanted to terminate the contract and my money refunded. The salesperson called the franchise owner who approved the termination but said the $80 fee would not be refunded. Fortunately, I used a credit card and when I explained this to the CC company, the service charge was reversed.
